Brought the first machine vacuum cupping device to Slovakia. Introduced this method into practice and trains other therapists.
SM System — spiral stabilization
Qualified instructor of the SM System — a comprehensive rehabilitation method developed by Dr. Richard Smíšek, focused on stabilization and mobilization of the spine using muscle spiral chains. Kasan regularly teaches this approach and uses it in rehabilitation practice.
Massages under infrared light
Developed a comprehensive procedure for massages under infrared light with the Philips Vitae lamp. Based on more than a thousand massages under IR light, he created a methodology where the lamp actively cooperates with massage techniques throughout the entire session.
Heat therapy and Russian sauna
Focuses on heat therapy and previously opened one of the few — if not the first — Russian saunas in Slovakia.

Author of the hirudo.wiki project — a knowledge system with artificial intelligence that processed thousands of professional texts about hirudotherapy in 5 languages and makes them accessible in 18 languages.
Hirudotherapy — untapped potential
In Slovakia and the Czech Republic, hirudotherapy remains on the margins of interest. Results are rarely shared, experiences are not published. In many other countries — Germany, Russia, Turkey, or Ukraine — the situation is completely different. Leeches are part of official medicine there, research takes place at universities, and clinical results are regularly presented.

hirudo.wiki — when tradition meets artificial intelligence
One of the most ambitious projects of Miroslav Kasan is <strong>hirudo.wiki</strong> — a knowledge system built on RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) technology, accumulating professional information about hirudotherapy from around the world. The system has processed more than 3,000 text segments from professional books and publications in 5 languages and makes them available to users in 18 languages.
A unique part of the project is the so-called <strong>arbiter</strong> — if the system detects a diagnosis in a question, it automatically creates 9 specialized questions for different AI agents. Each agent looks at the issue from a different angle — similar to how different specialists in the real world approach the same problem differently. The resulting answer is thus not one-dimensional but offers a comprehensive view of the topic.
The development of this project is very demanding and still ongoing, but already today hirudo.wiki functions as a full-fledged tool that makes verified, scientifically based information about hirudotherapy accessible to anyone — therapists, students, and people who want to learn more.
